"UPDATE: Here's Where You Can Find Quality Boat Auctions Liquidating Repo Boats
For the record this isn't any kind of hyped repo boat auctions sales letter. Nor am I pushing you to opt-into anything. No, I'm not a paid affiliate either...
I'm just passing along a few sites/resources I've found helpful towards finding bank repossessed boat sales particularly within North America...that work so you don't have to. There are a lot of 'repo boat auction' sites that don't deliver anything close to what they advertise.
I've been a boat auction enthusiast for almost 10 years now and one of the main reasons and benefits that I peruse member based auction aggregator sites is because the alternative is extremely inefficient. You're basically left to using your favorite search engine in an effort to qualify each site within my region.
I would rather not do that at all especially when you can actually have someone who seaches for bank repo boats for auction all day every day...do it for you and give you the results for you to decide.
Recommended Boat Auctions Sources:
http://www.boatauctionsinfo.com: Is a free marine auction directory that can help you find the most popular repo boat auctions by seperating the 'chaff from the wheat' if you will. They certainly aren't exhaustive but nail down the top boat auction sites within the USA.
Boat Auctions Direct: Similar to the above this resource however, is exhaustive and finds about every Boat, Jetski, RV, ATV, and marine auctions resource out there. As of 2011 they've
been able to utilize a simple drop-down menu to find the particular boat or auctioned asset you're looking for. The add-on free tools and bonuses are so-so. Some of the free trial 'repo' auction sites I've been disappointed with as they slip in a recurring monthly fee.
Like I said I've been at this a long time and found these two repo boat auction tools a smart and inefficient way to get'r done without spending a bunch of time.
Car-Auction.com is a site that offers you I believe about 3 to 4 boat auction sales site sitting on top of Google. There's no need to say more.
Bank repo boats for sale are not easy to discover online using Google. These assets have a lot of confusion surrounding it as to where you can find one. Should contact lenders directly about their repossessed collateral? That's an option
that gets throw around a lot but a very inefficient means to find bank repos. Most lenders use online classified sites or auction houses to liquidate their repossessions. Very few
do that in house.
Boat Trader is a site that you can drill down and find motivated ....I mean really motivated sellers looking to let go of a boat they
either have out grown or just plain tired of having to deal with anymore. If you run across these distressed owners on Boat Trader they will often give you a better deal than any boat repo auction.
It just takes a lot of time to peruse especially since inventory changes so frequently. Which is why I prefer Boat Auctions Direct.
